I'll be honest - I purchased this moisturizer after reading many positive reviews. I have never tried this product before.As soon as I used it for the first time, I was disappointed. I did not like the smell of it. Some people insist that this cream does not smell, but others will notice it.The smell is somewhat medicinal for me and has a faint similarity to many safe sunscreens which contain Zinc Oxide as their main ingredient.It is not bad, you will get used to it, but it does not scream luxury as for example, La Mer. I love their smell, but cannot pay that much money for it considering I never saw any miraculous results.The packaging is nothing to rave about - just a plastic tube, but it is a safe and hygienic way to get your cream out comparing to regular containers where you have to dip your fingers into the product. I will take functionality over a pretty jar.I have normal skin, more on a dry side, and this moisturizer is just perfect for me. It made my skin smooth and did not clog any pores (I have been using it for almost 2 weeks). I usually don't have a daily beautification routine where I use certain lotions or cream before going to bed, but I noticed that with this one I tend to use it more regulary because I like the result so much.I will certainly try other Dermalogica products.

I love Dermalogica products! I have tried several brands and my skin does the best with Dermalogica. I have several ones that I can't live without and Intensive Moisture Balance is one of them!!!

I am a big fan of Dermalogica. I have sensitive skin that tends toward dryness. This past year, I have had health problems that affected my skin. Now that I'm feeling better, I am using this cream to help repair my skin. I love how moisturizing this is. I also recommend the intensive eye repair. I buy these products through Amazon because it is much more cost effective. These products are pretty expensive but I've been happy with the results.
