This is likley the first and only review I will write. I feel compelled to do this because there has been, in my recent memory, no product that I have purchased that has so completely met with (and exceeded) my expectations. We have had our chair for about 4 months now. I purchased in part becasue of the helpful reviews I read. I hope that my experience offers some guidance to other shoppers.My wife and I spent a great deal of time researching this purchase, and we tried many other massage chair products in various stores near our home, Relax the Back, Brookstone, and Costco among them. We came very close to purchasing at least 2 other models that ranged in price from $3000-4500. In the end - and with a sense that we were busting our budget - we took the plunge and bought our Dreamwave chair. We made the decision based on reviews and the first-hand experience we had when we tried the chair. (My wife and I tried the chair in a local store, and I actually tried it again during a business trip I took to S. California.)After about 2 months of having the chair, we had a visit planned from our two grand children. I recalled hearing about a a child lockout feature, and I wanted to use this feature during their visit - reasons are obvious I think. The function requires a key...a key that I could not find. Desperate for this key, I called the service number on my chair and talked to - I think - the Inada people directly. I had to leave a message and I figured it would be days before I heard back. No more than 1-2 hours later a serviceman (he referred to himself as a "Chair Doctor," which I thought was a nice touch and made me chuckle) called me back. In the amount of time it took me to give him my address, my missing key problem was solved - no charge, and I had it within a week in time for the visit. Through this encounter, I learned that these guys really care about customers, and I can't say that I genrally feel this way when I deal with other companies.The product itself is amazing. I remember a salesman trying to explain to me and my wife what it would do, how it would make us feel, etc., and we pretty much felt that this was just a pitch. Not so. It is very hard to describe what this product can do, but I now know that none of the other chairs we tried could possibly measure up to it.In case it's not 100% clear, we are two very very happy consumers. We spent more than we wanted to spend, felt a little wreckless at the time, but now feel vindicated. Take the plunge. You'll be glad you did.

I've had a small electronic massage pillow for years which I have enjoyed. So I thought I might like to have a whole chair that does massage. I tried one that I found uncomfortable, so I wasn't sure what to expect with this Sogno Dreamwave. What a difference! Even though I'm short, the chair scanned me and customized the massage just for me. It started gently with my back and gradually included my feet and arms. I was amazed at the way the different massage programs were so intricately coreographed to provide a wonderfully relaxing massage. The part I liked best was when it would firmly squeeze my feet and calves at the same time working my back with the rollers.This massage chair is much more expensive that the other one I looked at. However, I have always believed that investing in my health is one of the best places to invest my money. I will enjoy life more because I can de-stress any time in my new Sogno massage chair. This chair really is the world's best massage chair.

For the price of a car upgrade you can have something waiting at home that for a few cents of electricity can put you to sleep, invigorate you, ease your sorest points, or stretch you gently. In night mode, the damn thing holds my hips, rocks me side to side like a mother, and vibrates gently. Usually while squeezing my feet.I absolutely love this thing and have used it hundreds of time since purchasing it summer of last year. I bought it from a little hole in the wall place in Brooklyn while there on business and they had the best chairs in the world lined up. The Inada was head and shoulders above the competition in terms of build quality and massage. My only complaint is that the controller for it is truly an awful piece of interaction design and seems straight out the mid 80s. The chair itself though is phenomenal. I love mine.
