I was recommended Avipaxin on the basis of a brain chemistry panel, and I stalled on buying it because of the price on top of my long-standing depression and brainfog. When I finally caved and got a bottle of Avipaxin, I had one of those dramatic experiences of conversion: within an hour of taking one capsule, I suddenly felt my years-long depression and brainfog lift like a miracle, while I felt grounded, alert, calm, and contented. So long as my body is fighting the Lyme organisms that were allowed to proliferate in it without diagnosis or treatment for 37 years, this supplement makes possible the living of a life. NeuroScience's NorLox is great too, in that it reduces the inflammation like no other supplement or medicine has been able to do. And all of these great effects without (knock on wood) any side-effects. What a blessing!

I have used Avipaxin and other Neuroscience products under the care of a Naturopath for 2 years now. Avipaxin has been helpful paired with other products to improve sleep, energy, and reduce anxiety. What I have noticed specifically with Avipaxin is that it has significantly reduced body and muscular skeletal pain, which I appreciate.Unfortunately, I experienced significantly increased pain upon stopping the product. This kind of backlash makes me wonder if I had developed a tolerance to the powerful Huperzine A component of their formula, the only herbal ingredient (extract of huperzia serrata leaf, a Chinese herb). After going without the product because it was back ordered from my doc for a month, my pain was considerable and lasted almost two weeks.Huperzine A and other components of this product have a big role in cognitive brain function and memory, including the treatment of Alzheimer's. Curious that this claim is not on the label. The current label states "Regulates Immune Responses by Supporting Acetylcholine". What does THAT mean to the layperson who uses the product? It is also noteworthy that this description is a new and recent one on the label. The Avipaxin label previously indicated the product (paraphrased) "reduced inflammation by decreasing cytokines". I personally found the previous label to be a more accurate description of its observable effect on my body by reducing pain. It also brightened my mental processing.I have stopped taking this product despite the welcome pain relief. Due to the unpleasant surge of increased pain following discontinuing the product, I researched Huperzine A. I discovered that part of the way it works is to bring congestion to the abdominal organs, and one repeated concern is that it increases severity of intestinal blockage. I had been experiencing chronic localized abdominal pain since taking the product, not realizing it could be associated with a supplement. After a negative CT scan and ultrasound, barium xrays indicated that my small intestines were tightly crowded. Not knowing if there was a direct relationship, I thought it prudent to stop this product, and since then the pain has continued but at a decreased level. This is all just experimental conjecture, but until I get more information on Huperzine A, I plan to stay away from that particular Chinese herb.If there were not potential side effects of abdominal pain and addiction/withdrawal, I would give this product five stars for musculoskeletal/tissue pain relief and brightening my thinking. But for me specifically, the risk of blockage and continued abdominal pain lowers this review to 3 stars, and I plan to look for another product to meet my pain/inflammation needs.In fairness to Neuroscience, I have also used Balance D and Kavinace for an extended period of time, and I find then helpful and without side effects. Their Travacor made me unbearably jittery. Everyone's body is different, but this story is about my body.

I took this for adrenal fatigue issues. It seems to have helped with depression and focus. I would recommend this product.
