I started the Optifast program in August, 2010. While under doctor supervision I lost 45 pounds by November, 2010. Drinking the 5 shakes each day I felt no hunger. The most important thing is water. You should drink at least 80 ounces of water or more every day to stay healthy and accelerate the weight loss.I would recommend anyone who wants to loose a significant amount of weight (50 pounds or more) to find a local hospital or weight loss doctor supervised program that uses Optifast as its product. The doctor supervision is very important as you will find that certain medications you are taking for high blood pressure, cholesterol and other medical conditions may have the dose diminished or taken out completelyConsider this only if you are in the BMI of greater than 39 and are ready to do everything that you are instructed to do to loose the weight.There is a program for after weight loss that supports the patient and costs nothing. It provides you an opportunity to talk with other patients and a group counselor who has gone through the program before you. Many of these people have lost over 100 to 200 pounds and are maintaining/sustaining their weight loss for years. Some for more than 10 years.This is a program and product that your doctor will recommend.

When I first received my order I wasn't sure I would make it through to finish all 12 cartons. I'm now down to my final four and just made another order. I have found this program fairly easy especially after the first week. It has eliminated the task of thinking about food, buying food and preparing food, something that has brought me peace. I have been on this program for 19 days and have lost 14 pounds! The product tastes good and I have 'perfected' my morning and evening shakes by blending the chocolate powder with crushed ice and water making a cool and refreshing yummy meal replacement. It is really important to consult your doctor before beginning to use this product. My doc agreed to monitor my health while doing this which is essential. i absolutely recommend the product and buying from this vendor. They ship quickly, product comes in perfect condition and they responded to my email inquiries with in a few hours.

Items came faster than I expected so was very happy.If you're going to buy Optifast in bulk like this, beware where you ship it.I had it come to my work - it arrived in a huge box saying "OPTIFAST - WEIGHT LOSS SOLUTION" and this was incredibly embarrassing. I wasn't expecting it to arrive in non-discrete packaging so the incredibly nosey receptionist made sure to to tell everyone in the office.Just an FYI if this would bother you - you should have it shipped somewhere that 100 people won't see the package arrive and make you the talk of the lunch room.Otherwise - the item is perfect. About 16 individual boxes so I can keep some at the office, some in the car and the rest at home.
