My mother is bedridden and (1) has very sensitive skin and is prone to rashes from almost every diaper on the market and (2) frequently retains urine and then purges 16-32 ounces at a time.My mother had a skin rash that her nurses were unable to cure for 10 months. So, I did a web search for sensitive skin diapers and found a link describing Tranquility ATN as the only one that really worked. As a result, I went online and purchased a single package.These diapers are GREAT! First, there is some kind of absorbent material inside the diaper that PULLS the urine and moisture from feces away from the skin. Second, there is a lining inside the diaper that protects the skin from the water proof exterior. Third, the diaper is able to RETAIN over 32 ounces of liquid without leaking onto the bed liners. Fourth, the adhesive tabs, two on each side, have a "double-tape" section; consisting of a lower, blue tape, and an upper, overlying, dotted-tape, that allows you to tape the blue tape to the diaper, and then, if needed, pull the dotted-tape section off the underlying, blue tape, open the diaper and reattach the diaper using the dotted-tape section. Cool.Not only do these diapers hold more urine than anything I have tried, mother's rash DISAPPEARED within the first 2 weeks of use; actually was visibly better within the first 18 hours.Finally, so that mother can sleep comfortably throughout the night, I insert one, or even two, ATTENDS BOOSTER PADS into the Tranquility Diaper. Each Attends Booster Pad holds over a cup of liquid.If you or your loved one(s) suffer incontinence, skin irritation from urine and/or diaper contact, etc., I highly recommend the Tranquility ATN diapers, and the Attends Booster Pads for added urine absorption re retention/purging issues.

For a long time I've been contemplating ordering these diapers for my night time use. I have no control over my lower portion of my body at night and no diaper has ever come close to holding me until the morning. This diaper is no exception. It leaks after 2 full wettings and I never wake up after just 1. There is no good smell guard so anyone can smell when I accidentally poop myself. The plastic is extremely crinkly which isn't necessarily bad, but it doesn't help the leaking process, liquid actually comes through the plastic. The worst of all, is the tapes. They don't stick and stay at all. They always fall leading to more leaks because it comes out of place. I would not recommend this diaper for anyone who needs it!

We use these for our Mom with a regular depend over to hold it in place better. This really works great for the whole night! We've been using these for about a year now.
